Friday's Gossips

Bonjour my furiends !

How are you today? Thanks for all the comments you left on my last post " Missing Oscar" - for those of you who asked about the fridge - I know ! Everytime we opened it he used to rush and jump inside - we had to be very careful - and also careful he didn't sneek in without my humans noticing it ! Imagine - a frozen headless cat ! Scary!

We had some news since - he is doing great. I'm happy ! Plus, Poupette (this is the name of the new kitty) and I have .. arhhum... kinda fallen in love with each other .......

First I was shy and clumsy ...

but still, I let her sleep on my bed

Then we started to get closer ...

and closer .... !

It did not seem to bother my kitty brother, Nounet :

ZZzzzZZZZzzz

The people that rescued Poupette called her "Poireau", which is "Leek" in English - ugh. Not very nice, don't you think ? So we call her Poupette for now - this is much more feminine.

Also, I'm going to change my dry food's brand. I was on Royal Canin but my humans found another one that looks better to them : Orijen. I'm very excited - and ready ! My furiend Branson the great dane is on Orijen too and he loves it !

So, where is it ?

Gimme da food !!!!!

Also, I promised you I'd show you the video of the cows following me!!!

Hehe :-) Hope you like it!

Woof,

Lincoln

  2. That is great news to see you and Poupette doing so well together. We LOVED that video, Mom says she has never seen cows move along so quickly. That first one was especially interested in you - do you think they thought you might be a lost calf?

  3. *heheheeeeee* where did you find that song??! Its so awesomely funny :D
LOVED the video! cows are such curious creatures, you should have stopped to let them sniff you Lincoln! :)

O how crazy, we were fed Royal Canin when we were young and then also swapped to Orijen. We liked our Orijen and we did very well on it (nice solid small poop).
We had to swap back to Royal Canin though because I (Jasper) have a not so great digestive system and it couldn't handle the high quiality (so after one solid poop we would have 4 runnny ones in th period of 45min) :( I (Lexi) didn't have any propblems - I have an iron gutt :)

We would love to know how you go on it, Laura really liked the food, we were both looked in such good condition on it - Laura just couldn't handle my (Jasper) poop and me not puttin gon enough weight!

We are so glad your new kitty loves you :)

    Licks and lots of slobber,

  4. Aaaahhhhh I can see you really taken Poupette under your paw. I am sure you are going to be the very best of friends. I must admit I have a soft spot for cows - I don't know why but I do :)

  6. Hi Lincoln, your new kitty friend really does like you. Yes cows are very curious creatures. We have cows live in the paddock next to our house and they have always come to see what the dogs are doing. They are beautiful to watch. Have a good day. No worries, love Carol.

  7. Aaww Lincoln, your new furry friend is such a sweetie. As for those nosey cows, they obviously recognised your leadership qualities - we're not too keen on cows ourselves, the ones near us kick out as well which isn't very frendly is it?! Great video :-) Dex & Lou x

  8. Good to know Oscar's doing great at his new home! Poupette is a purdy girl. Sure looks like you two are getting along pretty well. Orijen is a good food. It's quite popular here in Malaysia. We were on it for a very short while because we did badly on it. Many dogs on the hand do very good on it so hopefully you do great on it too!

  9. You and Poupette look so cute together Lincoln.

Good luck with the new food. Griffen is such a fuss pot with him food, he'll eat it for a week then wont touch it. It's so hard keeping weight on him.

  10. Ha roo, Lincoln! I came over from Amber-Mae's blog and thought I'd say hi! Wowzers, your new kitty friend Poupette sure is cute! I'd love to have a kitty friend of my own, but I can't -- so I make friends with all the neighbor cats instead.
Cows! I love cows. They're almost as nice as cats. I don't think my mom will let me get a cow, either.
    Play bows,
    Zim

  12. Oh Lincoln - that is a BRILLIANT video!! Where did your humans find such a perfect song to go with it??

I've had that happen to me too - cows following me! They are usually young cows and I think they're curious coz we're so big, they're not sure if we're doggies - hee! hee! In fact, my humans think that with my floppy lips and big eyelash-eyes and gangly legs, I look a bit like a calf - ha! ha!

    Slobbers,
    Honey the Great Dane
ps. LOVED the pictures of you with that bib around your neck - so cute!!
