Hey my furiends,
Here is a little video I wanted to share with you. I know it's far from being perfect, I know it does not really look like proper dancing yet, I know I am VERY slow when I move, but what I also know is that I love my DWTDS training SO MUCH and we're having GREAT fun doing it :-)
My humans are very proud because they say I've been a very good student when learning new tricks. I've been learning things quite easily and did not get too much distracted as they thought I would.
I am not so cute trying my best ?
x
Hope you enjoy it and can tell me what you think :-)
Talk soon,
Lincoln
Wow - you are doing awesome Lincoln! It's a good thing you Mom has long legs otherwise you could both end up sitting on the floor. My mom is short so there is no way you would be able to dance with her !
ReplyDeleteWe can tell you and Mom are both having such a good time with your dance. We think you are doing great - you can do so many cool dance moves. We can't wait to see your entry.

Oh Lincoln!! C'est magnifique!! I don't think you're slow at all (well, by MY standards - ha! ha!!) - anyway, us Danes are majestic, dignified dogs, n'est-ce pas? So it is suitable that we move slowly - ha! ha!
ReplyDeleteOh and I'm SO impressed that you learnt that Circling Around a Cane trick so quickly!! You are a very clever pup!! By the way, I think it might help if Laura used a unique command for that. Because us doggies get confused easily and so we try to have a different command for each action. So if you're using "Passe" for your leg weaving and "Tourne" for your spins, then try to think of another word for the circling the cane, because otherwise you will get confused! :-) So maybe something like "Autours"? or I don't know - our French isn't very good - in English, people use "Circle", "Pole", "Around", "Round"...anything you like really!
By the way, Hsin-Yi says that dog trainign seems so much "sexier" when it is done in French - ha! ha!
Slobbers,
Honey the Great Dane
We think you are doing an incredibly good job, Lincoln! However, you need a bigger rehearsal space and a non-slip floor. :) You have some really good moves and seem to pick up the moves quickly. Bravo!

Bonjour Lincoln,
ReplyDeleteYou are are very good dancer...wait til you see me...mom and I are most amusing. You actually seem to get the concept of the dancing...I just sort of follow mom around slowly looking for a treat. Keep of the great work.
Mom took pictures of me opening your pressie today...Thank you very very much. She's working on a post right now on a package she received from Tucker and yours will be next.

Wow Lincoln, that is amazing, your training has come on so far. It must be really hard for a big dog like you to go round in circles too, keep up the good work! Dex & Lou x
ReplyDeleteYou are doing a great job. C'était magnifique. Enjoyed watching the video from Mississippi USA.
ReplyDeleteVERY nice, Lincoln!!! I see you've finally mastered the "weave" trick. Good job & keep it up!
ReplyDeleteGood job Lincoln! You seem to have learned a lot of moves for this dance! Can't wait to see the final routine!

ReplyDeleteLicks and lots of slobber,
Lexi and Jasper the Danes
Hi Lincoln, I wanted to watch your dance routine but I had trouble getting to it from the Big Honey Dog Finale post. So, I ended up finding it by looking at your blog and searching thru YouTube but I couldn't hear the music on the video I watched (maybe I watched the wrong video) - but I heard the music in blog post where you showed sneek peeks. (Sometimes computers can be a real pain in the tail!) I really like the matching white t-shirts you wore in the photos at the end of the video. You did a good job dancing, looks like you had fun!
