I am the Birthday Boy

Today is my Birthday ! I'm 1 !

I have decided that everyone should wear a special Birthday Hat in the house - including myself - so what do you think ? Am I not a very handsome Birthday Boy ?

That's the reason why I love Poupette so much, she's always up for some fun !

And guess what ??!! My humans had a surprise for me !!

Great thing with birthday is that you also get presents ! I got a cool blue frisbee, and lots of yummies !!

Note from my humans : Can't believe Lincoln is already one. Time goes by so quickly... Since we got him when he was 2 months old, our lives have been totally changed. He made our days a little bit stressful sometimes, but mostly, he made our days even more exciting, surprising, funny, happy !

He was the cutest pup when we first got him and we immediately fell in love with each others. We spend huge amount of time with him (some people would say too much time), playing, teaching him new things. He has clearly become a very big part of our lives ! Though everything is not always perfect (teenage stage, uh!!), he really is a great dog, a great Great Dane !!

We also wanted to thanks everyone of you for everything, helping us when we are a little bit confused, visiting our blog regularly and commenting our posts and pictures ! Lincoln sure really loves you... and so do we !

New place, new home, new adventures

Bonjour my furiends,

Sorry I did not come to post more often on my blog as I promised on my last post. Summer has been very busy also and we had so much things to do that when we had some peace and quiet we spent it together doing others things than being on the computer. But I did think about you my furiends all the time and I missed you.

I hope you are all well, it will take me some time but I will come and visit your blogs maybe today or tomorrow.

So you must be wondering what kept us so busy away from blog world ? Well, my humans who are still students were given the opportunity to go to another University and move to .... Bordeaux ! I'm not sure you've heard about Bordeaux but maybe your humans have... ask them about wine and you'll see!

So we had to get all organized as it was a big move from North to South. But I'm so glad we're here now, Bordeaux is beautiful ! But arghhh please... it's SO hot over here !

Also, I'm not very proud to tell you this but I have been a bit of a VERY VERY trouble boy again and caused lots and lots of worries to my humans. But they say they will come to tell you about it later.

I'm back !

Hello my furiends !

I'm so sorry I haven't been on the blogsphere lately ! Me and my humans have been so busy, and lots of things have happened ... like... I have a new kitty sister (!), we are hosting two little kittens at the moment, I have been to Paris, I've taken the train, I had my first sleepover, my great friend Anika is moving far away from me, and...... I have been neutered last friday!!

Here are three pictures of me with this silly thing they put around my head. So annoying ! Plus, it does not really help so I have to wear panties as well !

Training Video - DWTDS

Hey my furiends,

Here is a little video I wanted to share with you. I know it's far from being perfect, I know it does not really look like proper dancing yet, I know I am VERY slow when I move, but what I also know is that I love my DWTDS training SO MUCH and we're having GREAT fun doing it :-)

My humans are very proud because they say I've been a very good student when learning new tricks. I've been learning things quite easily and did not get too much distracted as they thought I would.

My super fun playdate with Anika

Yesterday my humans started packing a bag with a bottle of water, treats and a couple of balls. I knew it meant something - something real GOOD - so I started to get excited. I was going to meet Anika for the first time ! Yeepee

When she arrived it was love at first sight. I was so happy I could not stop giving her kisses and bringing her my toys. We had a good run too.

My humans and Anika's humans met on the internet - Anika's humans sent them an email because they had been thinking for a long time about getting a Great Dane.

Anika too was quite happy to see me

and I also loved Anika's second human

- she was so nice and gentle -

Everyone said I was a very good boy during the playdate - though as usual I was playing rough especially at the beginning - but we could see I was trying my best to be as soft as possible with her. My humans said they were really proud. I even shared my bowl of water and some treats from my human's bag.

I really had a great time. I did not want her to leave, so I kept kissing her all the time.

Can we meet again ?

She said OK, we could meet again sometime soon. I'm so chuffed.

After she left with her humans I kept looking everywhere to see if there was any chance I could find her hidden behind a bush. I didn't. So we head back home - and I was the most tired dog in the whole entiere world. I slept from 9pm to 9am this morning. Without waking up even once.
